Own the client relationship end to end — quote, route the deposit alert to an analyst, and grow each engagement.
The Director of Sales owns the commercial side of Platmetrix — the client relationship from first quote through delivery and expansion. You don’t build the studies; you sell them, scope them, route the work, and grow each engagement.
You report to the COO and the market analysts report to you. When a market’s work needs doing, you assign it.
The moment a client pays the deposit for a desktop study, the platform notifies you — the alert is routed to the Director of Sales seat in the org chart. That notification is the trigger for everything that follows.
Today every Director of Sales is notified. A single routing contact can be designated later without any code change — an administrator flags one seat and alerts narrow to that person.
The moment a client’s tier flips to deposit, this alert lands in your inbox with the client, market, and amount — your cue to advance the engagement to full.
Each desktop study is the first rung. Your job is to move the client up the ladder:
| Stage | What sells it |
|---|---|
| Desktop Study (deposit) | The market-level read that proves the site is worth pursuing. |
| Site Intelligence (add-on) | When a submarket scores well: “is this parcel buildable?” — topography, utilities, environmental, zoning. |
| Full Study (paid in full) | Complete underwriting — proforma, IRR/DSCR, sensitivity — when they commit to the deal. |
Have your analyst flag, in the desktop study, the two or three highest-potential submarkets and the due diligence each needs. Those become your Site Intelligence and Full Study scope.
You scope and price engagements in the Quote Builder — select the services, set the deposit and balance, and issue the quote. When the client accepts and pays, an administrator raises their access tier and the market opens at the matching level.
The Quote Builder sets the price; the Admin Console sets the access. Your quote becomes the client’s portal entitlement once it’s paid.
